That's a lot of buttons.. Reminds me of my wearable art creation. Ugh I don't ever want to see another button! Hence why this wedding, despite how adorable it is, makes me cringe..

Pre-wedding
I think this is a brilliant idea. A photo shoot BEFORE the wedding. This bride, Candice Dowling of Jubilee Events wanted to do something different, rather than a typical trash-the-dress. And what better idea than a photo shoot straight out of Vogue. Perfect lighting, quirky setting, glamourous and vintage - it definitely tickles my fancy.

Style Me Pretty
This has to be the best wedding site! It is where I get most of my collected pictures and a lot of ideas from - all of which I find inspiring and stunningly beautiful. The author of the site, Abby, explains the purpose behind her webpage...
"Simply put, I write about all things beautiful. All things wedding. Everyday, I post my favorite finds, my latest loves…I try to create a place where creativity and ideas thrive, where you can find weddings that eliminate the walls of tradition and focus instead on the unique personalities of brides and grooms everywhere. And in the midst of all the beautiful pictures and the beautiful weddings, my only hope is that I will inspire you in some small way, to translate that perfect picture in your head into a day that will make you smile for years to come."
E Shoot #3
Engagement photo shoots look like way too much fun. These 3 are just a few of my favourites from Style Me Pretty.
This couple drove the vintage piano out into the country before spray painting it teal. I love how it makes her red dress pop!
Their wedding was just as stunning. Piano and typewriter themed. Their table runners fed through type writers! This is certainly all things vintage. I like how they display photos from their engagement shoot (above) at the wedding. And she has the short dress!

Tim Haire
Sometimes I wonder if I am in the right school of study. Do I really want to work with people the rest of my life? Do I want to always be helping and studying business relations? Wouldn't practical work be more interesting - physiotherapy, design, music...
I decided I needed some inspiration to keep me focused on a career I know is worth sticking to.
The HR Manager of Farmers phoned me today to amp me up for potential job positions I may find myself in in the future.
And amp he did!
His job is basically people people people, with his focus on bettering the work environment and have a positive influence on workers. He lives in Waihi and works primarily from home, maintaining the Employment webpage for Farmers, sorting through CVs, and interviewing potential employees for the Farmers stores in both Auckland and Hamilton. Being the recruiter, Tim gets to meet each employee individually, meaning he is widely known and respected - he says a trip to the office is more a social event than anything else. His week generally includes a number of regional meetings with others in his position, with a couple of days in the week working from home. His joy in work comes from finding a willing employee, watching them adapt to their role over the year, then proudly sending them off to higher positions and job roles, knowing it was he who matched the worker to the appropriate job. To Tim, each worker is a member of the family. He chooses individuals who have enthusiasm and life, who are willing to interact with and serve customers, rather than simply man the till and sell products. There is a wide range of areas to choose from within HR, from recruitment, to advertising, to mediating. Tim explained to me that I will determine, throughout my study, which area I most enjoy, and the specific job I should aim for based on my strengths and interests.
I am definitely inspired to pursue a career in HR! It was very relieving to hear someone enthusiastic about their job describe what their work entails on a daily basis. That is a job I can certainly see myself in one day.

Guau!
OK soy inspirado. Después veo tales fotografías maravillosas de bodas, las optiones para el novio parecen sin fin. Nunca consideraba un check shirt. Ni un bow-tie. Ni un tweed suit.
Tengo muchas optiones!

Groom #3
This has to be my favourite outfit for the groom - red check shirt, bow tie, suspenders and all.

A Break From Weddings
I like bedrooms. Which is inevitable, considering as I spend nearly all of every day in mine. I look forward to having a BIG one. And perhaps one with wallpaper that isn't flaking.. The bedroom should be one of those rooms you enter after a big day and just go 'ahhh'. Soon I am going to be sharing mine with my best friend. I hope one day we can have a beautiful one like these!
