Garden Party Wedding

Today on OnceWed they are featuring this wedding which is rather similar to what I, at one stage, pictured ours to potentially be like.

To Do Lists

Mama and I are slowly ticking off the things to be done. It feels good!

Up till now we have...
1. Bought bridesmaids dresses
2. Bought the wedding-dress bra
3. Discussed invites with our friend Elliot the designer
4. Begun constructing the wedding favours
5. Collected almost enough decanters for centrepieces

In the next wee while, we need to...
1. Order the planes for favours
2. Complete favours
3. Find shoes for bridesmaids, and for me!
4. Take photo for wedding invites
5. Find the perfect floral for pennant flags

Inspiration Board

Here's a wee inspiration board I put together. I think it has a nice feel. Pretty, personal and handcrafted, yet tidy.

Morning Wedding

Thought this was a pretty nifty little number!



"Both the groomsmen and bridesmaids attire were put together for about $100 (!). The groomsmen outfits came from Urban Outfitters and the ribbon boutonnieres were made by both the bride and groom.

Hollin (bride) and her mom made the bridesmaids dresses themselves. Plus Hollin made them each a hairpiece from vintage millinery supplies."

How cool is that!
