Green Wedding Shoes

This is a wedding that floats my boat. The photos are so unique and art inspired. The website Green Wedding Shoes on which is features is another neat wedding site. So much inspiration, it's fantastic to see everyone else's creative juices. As I remind those around me (who I fear may be sick of my wedding ranting), any good project takes a huge amount of research. And when the research is as enjoyable as this, why not go crazy?? I only wish the rest of my dearly beloveds were near to enjoy this time with me. .

Wedding Dessert

That last post really got me thinking! To go along with the garden party theme, I'm stuck on the idea of having a range of pies and tarts for dessert, arranged beautifully on tiers and stands. Perhaps some apple tarts, pecan pie, petit fours, lemon pie. And of course a wee cake to cut - perhaps coconut and raspberry, or something equally yummy. Good thing I have a lot of cooking-capable friends!

Phoenix Bride and Groom

The Phoenix Bride and Groom magazine threw a massive 10th Anniversary party. It included pretty much a circus act, a carpet of roses, a range of 'wedding' set-ups, a popcorn stand... and a presentation of the 10th Bride and Groom Magazine for which this photo shoot was taken. The first photo features on the cover. I think her dress is very very sweet.

Wedding Workshop

Love this setting. There are many ideas I could steal. Eating amongst the vines?? Barrels for juice or wine stands. Wild flowers in watering cans. Pretty fabric for stems of flowers...

Just a side note...
Every so often I enjoy watching How To Look Good Naked and Gok's Fashion Fix. Gok Wan is one unusual character.. Yet despite his incredible camp-ness and femininity he has impeccable style.
